Since 1997, the company's mission has been to be the most trusted service for information management in our market and beyond. Customer service and satisfaction is our goal and is the primary reason our customers continue to rely on us. Reliable service to ensure the security of your information is what the company's reputation is based upon. We started simply as a document destruction company under the name WesTex Document Destruction, Inc. While document destruction is still our largest division, on January 1, 2003 we changed our name to better reflect the full document management services we are now providing our customers. Our archive is the best in the market (we operate our secure vault under the name of WesTex Document Vault, Inc.). Our imaging services include capabilities for both standard files and wide format up to blue print size documents, with capabilities to convert microfilm/fiche to digital and digital to microfilm for long-term archiving needs. And our destruction service is unlike any other in the market place. Do your due diligence and come see for yourself, make an unannounced visit to us and then do the same for your other choices - there simply is no comparison.

NEW EXPANSION IN AMARILLO !
We opened the doors on our new $1.4 million location in Amarillo! It is located at 6055 East I-40, next door to the new FEDEX distribution center, and the Splash water park. It is a 15,700 square foot (80,000 cubic feet of storage) secure, climate and humidity controlled facility, providing records storage, plant-based shredding, mobile shredding, and other records management services. While we have serviced the Amarillo market since our early beginnings in 1997 and have been an active member of the Chamber of Commerce for a couple of years now, we are proud to be joining the Amarillo business community with this major expansion of our business. Our new location is NAID "AAA" Certified for both mobile and plant-based operations. With WesTex Document you get the best in:
It is why we recently initiated steps towards accomplishment of the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Standard for Information Security Management System. Our President/CEO holds professional credentials as a Sensitive Security Information Certified professional from the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security. He also holds profession certification in Homeland Security from the Board and was recently awarded status as a "Fellow." This is the highest honor and status the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security bestows upon its members and one must serve at least two years as a Diplomat to earn the status and privilege for the FABCHS designation. Information security is protection of information from a wide range of threats in order to ensure business continuity, minimize business risk, and maximize return on investments and business opportunities. Information is an asset that, like other important business assets, is essential to an organization's business and consequently needs to be suitably protected. Information security is achieved by implementing a suitable set of controls, including policies, processes, procedures, organizational structures and software and hardware functions. Information security is important to both public and private sector businesses, and to protect critical infrastructures. In both sectors, information security will function as an enabler and to reduce relevant risks. If we don't take it seriously internally, we can't help secure our customer's information. We have been a leader in the industry since 1997 through the National Association for Information Management (NAID). We were the first shredding company in Texas to achieve the NAID Certification and the 4th in the country. Our President has served on the NAID Board of Directors over the years, and on their Certification Committee, the Certification Review Board and was elected President-Elect by the membership in 2007, prior to his leaving the organization for a short period. He now is working with NAID to help develop their new Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (R) (CSDS) professional designation. Our new facility will complete the NAID Certification audit process early this summer to bring the facility into the program. The company is currently being reviewed for a facility security clearance from the DOE. Insurance. While most companies carry general liability, auto and worker's compensation insurance, we're covered by a CNA professional liability policy so you're covered. Our unique and specific errors and omissions insurance is underwritten by one of the most trusted names in business indemnification. A Bond does absolutely nothing to protect your risks in outsourcing information management services and General Liability provides little more. But rest assured that we do everything we can to make sure that you will never need to draw upon our General or Professional Liability Insurance coverage. We spent over $25,000 in development of our Nuclear Quality Assurance Program to make certain our customers and company never need to rely on our insurance coverage to share your risks. Environmentally Sensitive. We are a Clean Texas Partner of the Texas Natural Resource and Conservation Commission (TNRCC). Over 250 tons of paper is shipped monthly by us directly to paper mills, not to recyclers, as part of the chain of trust process for pulping and making into new paper. Read our story in PRISM Infocus to learn more. Affordable Cost. You avoid the high cost of equipment and salaries of operating your own records management program. Every one of our customers agree that our service is more cost effective for them - that is why they are our customers, and you should be too. Peace Of Mind.
