Since 1997, the company's mission has been to be the most trusted service for information management in our market and beyond. Customer service and satisfaction is our goal and is the primary reason our customers continue to rely on us. Reliable service to ensure the security of your information is what the company's reputation is based upon. We  started simply as a document destruction company under the name WesTex Document Destruction, Inc. While document destruction is still our largest division, on January 1, 2003 we changed our name to better reflect the full document management services we are now providing our customers. Our archive is the best in the market (we operate our secure vault under the name of WesTex Document Vault, Inc.). Our imaging services include capabilities for both standard files and wide format up to blue print size documents. And our destruction service is unlike any other in the market place.  Do your due diligence and come see for yourself, visit us and then visit your other choices - there simply is no comparison.

With WesTex Document you get the best in:

Security.  Our security operations are among the highest in the industry and actually meet  Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements without restriction. As a former Police Chief, Federal Agent, and both military and Homeland Security expert - our owner's background in security, law enforcement, and counter-terrorism serves as the foundation for our operations. While we were the first company in Texas to earn "trade association" certification many years ago from the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID), we believe their standards no longer represent the higher standards that we set for ourselves and that which our customers have come to expect, and actually would have caused our failure to achieve NQA-1 standards.  For further information on this decision you can read an article we published on the topic.  Our business customers in the nuclear industry speaks to this level of achievement when we met their nuclear quality assurance (NQA-1).

It is why we recently initiated steps towards accomplishment of the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Standard for Information Security Management System.

Information security is protection of information from a wide range of threats in order to ensure business continuity, minimize business risk, and maximize return on investments and business opportunities. Information is an asset that, like other important business assets, is essential to an organization's business and consequently needs to be suitably protected. Information security is achieved by implementing a suitable set of controls, including policies, processes, procedures, organizational structures and software and hardware functions.

Information security is important to both public and private sector businesses, and to protect critical infrastructures. In both sectors, information security will function as an enabler and to reduce relevant risks. If we don't take it seriously internally, we can't help secure our customer's information. We spent over seven years in a national association's program and found it lacking in the levels of compliance we sought for ourselves and our customers. Our competitors are correct when they state we are not certified by their trade association. We made the strategic decision to no longer associated with it, choosing to meet the higher international standards and those of our customers in the nuclear industry.

Insurance. While most companies carry general liability we're covered by a CNA professional liability policy so you're covered. Our unique and specific errors and omissions insurance is underwritten by one of the most trusted names in business indemnification.  Rest assured that we do everything we can to make sure that you will never need to draw upon our General or Professional Liability Insurance coverage. We spent over $15,000 in development of our Quality Assurance Program to make certain our customers and company never need to rely on it.

Environmentally Sensitive. We are a Clean Texas Partner of the Texas Natural Resource and Conservation Commission (TNRCC). All paper is recycled as part of the chain of trust process with the shredded and baled paper being shipped directly by us to a mill for pulping and made into new paper.

Affordable Cost. You avoid the high cost of equipment and salaries of operating your own records management program. Every one of our customers agree that our service is more cost effective for them - that is why they are our customers, and you should be too.

Peace Of Mind.  Sensitive data is handled in an efficient, secure and timely manner at all times.  We are dedicated to ensuring the chain of trust from you to us. When you absolutely have to sleep well at night knowing your records are being treated properly - choose WesTex Document Inc.
